we had it at Seoul Garden, Gurney Plaza. it was an eat-all-you-can restaurand and at RM 30plus it's cheap and it was good, especially to those yang suke makan banyak. lots of choices to fill in your plates, shellfishes, beef, chicken, squids and all types of balls, beefballs,fish balls, you name it.



i'm not thin but my tank is small. so i was the first to stop, and the rest continued to eat, and eat, and eat. but later i settled with 2 desserts. yes, i know thats a lot but who cares. we're celebrating remember.(Ada je alasan tanak diet :) the apricot ice-cream was so good. and i did both the desserts myself, ok. macam boleh bukak kedai dah kan? hehe

ayat ayat cinta

Ayat ayat cinta (the verses of love), an Indonesian movie which really won my heart, not only cos its a romantic lovey-dovey movie but beautifully portrayed Islamic love story - a tale of a virtuous Muslim protagonist who overcomes all obstacles of life maintaining pure ideals.

The movie which was suggested by my dear Indo friend, Isan, was really good (5 stars for them) not only with its "cowok gantang" Fedi Nuril and those pretty "cewek" (Aisha and Maria is super pretty) but in this movie, they spoke a little bit of Arabic here and there and they touched on the Islamic way of life and marriage, polygamy and so much more.

A must see movie. Please make sure that you have a towel or tissues cos its so touching and inspiring and yes i cried like a baby, MasyaAllah. Standing ovation for Habiburrahman El Shirazy, the writer of the best-selling novel turned movie Ayat-Ayat Cinta.

Queen Kate?

Oh Noooooooooo!!! Just when the bad news hit (rising of fuel price), Prince William is really getting married. I'm going to mourn over this. Good thing i'm wearing black today. Haha. I know there's probably a few hundred thousand commoners like me (who dreams to be a princess since a little girl) who would want to wed a prince like Prince William. i'm just like any other Prince William's fan, but i adored him since so long that i dont know when.

Reminiscing those moments when Aqila would be Prince Harry's girlfriend and i'd be who else's la kan? But it's okay William, i have Prince Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco and Prince Caspian (haha!). It's Andrea's gain and your loss. :) Anyways, congratulations on your wedding. Good thing you're not getting married to any Princess but another commoner like Princess Di. (I miss you, Princess Diana)

makan day wednesday

After a while now, my cousin Aqila came back to Penang for the semester break and she came by the pink office and wanted to have lunch with me and the other colleagues. I chose to have lunch ah Buk Pele. Nyummy-yum! Some will call it Pecel ayam or ayam penyek but this is the BOMB! Nasi, clear soup, ulam and chicken..... Nak lagiiiiii. Sedap kan?

then, after work, we headed for E-gate, wanted to have tea and continue on gossiping and catching up to do at Old Town Kopitiam but when we passed by Secret Recipe, we just had to stop there for some cheesecake or whatever cake they have. They have this new Green Tea Cheesecake but since i watched Brownies the movie, i had the tempting brownies with a scoop of ice-cream.

Later, after the makan makan, Papa called in and told me to fill in my petrol tank as the price is going to rise by 80sen tomorrow. 80sen?!? Nape tak bagi cukup RM3 je? Political issues, next blog people!
