ETA KL/Melaka

The journey will start soon, the long awaited journey. Sending Elly off to UiTm, Lendu, Melaka.

I hope we will have fun or not throughout the weekend. From KL to Melaka. Its going to be a LONG weekend, LONG journey. Tears and what not. Packing and unpacking. Membebel-ing and ceramah. I really hope there will be enough time to drop by the Curve and Ikea for Elly's last minute shopping and hangout with my cousin , Tina tonite.

That made me remember that i have not charge my camera.
Got to go now.

Hope you guys will have a great and not so long weekend like mine.

It was a whole lot of fun as we (the whole troop) have not met in a long time and Andy just got back from her Badminton Tournament in Sarawak and SR just got back from the land of the rising sun, hait! Yes Japan :) (Lots of souvenirs for me. I'll definitely share pix with you guys soon ok?)

Well im not really in the writing mood, so here's a few pics and also videos that will explain it all. Have fun and drool over the food, ya :)

f r i e n d s

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."- Ralph Waldo Emerson

I got this quote somewhere off the Net and i thought how wonderful it is to be talking bout my friends. Near and far. Close friends or just friends. Watever sort of friends. Friends i've made and broken throughout my life. I'm sorry but i would not be able to name all of them but insyaAllah, i'll name some of them. For those i forgot to mention, i didn't forget you, you know i won't.

And while i'm in this subject i would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you (your name here :) who had supported me along my journey of life, my gazillion episodes of reality show or drama whatever you call it, through highs and lows, happiness and sadneess, tears and joy, you name it!

I have always remembered all that, but i'm only human, i may slip a few details here and there. I may miss calling you on your birthday or anniversary or weddings (sorry Ain) . I may misscommunicate with you, or did anything that might hurt you in anyway you name it. I may ignore you when i'm busy. I may not return your calls or SMSes. I may do do whatever in which i cannot think of now.

Unless if i really hate you, then i'll mean it but if you know me very well, i'm a girl with good heart (if not takde la im called Sayangness, kan?). So i'd probably let that slip off my mouth or behaviour what-nots by accident or without going through my "mind-filter" or i might be so freaking busy or stressed out with life, work, family or relationship. Please forgive me.

My Ex even complained when i put my friends first than him. Well, i try to be as fair as possible with my friends and boyfriend. I'm sorry if sometimes i had my friends tagging along on our date and to my friends, i'm sorry if i had him tagging along too (Nad, i know you didn't mind, but i'll make it up to you). But it worked for me and Attie cos we had our double-date, yes?

For Aisyah's wedding this coming October, I hope the Wedding Showers is on and the whole 306 gals (Nad, Attie, Aisyah ,the bride, Ekin, Fafa and ET) and i will have lots and lots of fun. For Ada whose going to miss it, I'm sorry but I hope we plan for something fun too, yeah? Food-hunting again maybe? I hope when August comes, and Fairy comes back, I'll have lots of time for her, to share gossips and stories and sleepovers since i have not met her for 2-3 years now?

To Dirah and Shaz, I hope we will meet again and not at Pavilion's escalator. Definitely a real date, okay? Please bring along Shigim with you, i miss her so much! To Kin, my KL-Penang friend, the person i thought i would not be friends with, I'm going to miss you when you graduate and go back to KL. No more mamak fix. Haha. Eida, I am glad you are going to marry and get old in Penang, at least i know who to call to lepak-lepak. Nadiah, while you're still here in Malaysia, lets go hang out and talk nonsense like high-school, and hear your poyo American accent slip you tongue. Just cant wait for our Mat Saleh celup, Nurul (who got engaged the Mat Saleh way, congrats anyway) to come back and the SGGS gals to reunite. haha!! Friends, friends.

*Sigh!*

Other friends i have met and forgotten, those whom i have lost contact with, please forgive me and i hope we can be better friends for each other and please keep in touch with me no matter where you are and what you do cos a friend is still a friend. So from today, i vow to be a better friend.

p/s : i love you

the movie had gave me wonders. Starred by Hillary Swank and some spanking great actors and actresses including Gerard Butler and Lisa Kudrow. A must watch romantic movie. Yes i know it is an old movie but its a another great romantic movie!! Sorry, i can't escape from being the typical hopelessly romantic kinda gal. I was loving it and loving it more when there was a part where Holly went to Ireland which made me miss my girls in Dublin more :( *sobs* but :) they are coming back in October so hoorah for that.

I watched it Friday night and the first 5 minutes made me relate to my relationship and how we love to argue and kiss-and-make-up in the end, just like Holly and Gerry in the movie. I watched it with Kakak (not my biological sister, but my home-maker, i refuse to call her maid) and she thought it'd be great if i send the DVD to my boyfriend (whereever he is now) so he will get an idea of what's happening, a view from my perspective and all, InsyaAllah. Seriously, i did not think of that, but hey why not?

I loved it and had a new perspective of relationships and how complicated a women minds works.

P/s: i will always love you
P P/s: Thank you loved ones for all your support (you know who you are :)

love, drama, relationships

"my heart has been broken by the person i love most and it had been broken into pieces and i need him to fix it"

I know my friends or family will think its another episode of my drama. But NO! Sorry to disappoint you but i'm disappointed myself. I don't understand this part of a relationship where i have to go through thick and thins, highs and lows whatever-nots but believe it when i say "Yes i'll be your girlfriend or whatever", I'll try my best to do the best i could, I'm not the type to sit and watch my relationship grow, i work for it, i'll nurture and care for it. For heaven's sake, whatever crap am i talking about?

I know a part of me wants to fight this battle and another part of me just wants to let it be, but how am i to watch and just watch? When you watch movies, when you read books or articles in magazines, you'll somehow experience the part where one party will fight to win till they die - or not?

So. that means i'm willing to fight and win it. But it seems like he had lost hope in it, he said he wanted the best for me and what not but i believe we can suit ourselves, adjust here and there, tune our egos, increase the capacity to understand each other and love each other more. right? or did i get it wrong?
I believe in a relationship, there'll be mishaps , misscommunications, misunderstandings but mine is rather waaaayyy too much and i take it as a process and i believe that if i am able to pass all these, i'd learn to handle future problems better. like the saying "berakit-rakit ke hulu, berenang-renang ke tepian, bersakit-sakit dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian".

I'm only human, i have my limitations, my patience, my big-head and all. Tapi like Attie said "Sabar itu separuh daripada iman" I definitely know that but how long more?
I know he can live well too, he has his family and the fact that i'm far from him, duh! But i'm certain that he needs me as well. To cheer him up after a long day at work, to have sweet talks at night, to laugh at his jokes, to reminisce memories, to hear him sing and play the guitar whenever i want to, to remind him for his meals, to remind him to smoke lesser, to know there is someone to talk to anytime without scrolling the phone book twice and being indecisive on who to call and to tell him that i love him every now and then? Tell me how am i suppose to live without all that?

I'm definitely confused if this is a challenge for him and i or its a calling from Allah s.w.t. I don't want to go against His will, yet i'm uncertain if i can cope with my feelings, my brokenheart. All i need is more patience, more faith, and more love."Ya Allah berilah aku petunjuk"
