Tracks of My Tears by Adam Lambert

Well, did i tell you that my American Idol fever is back? Well, if i didn't i would like to express my love towards Mr Adam Lambert! He took my breath away with this one, Tracks of My Tears... will be on today's show..

Seems like he read me well.. Thanks Adam!

People say I'm the life of the party

'Cause I tell a joke or two

Although I might be laughing loud and hearty

Deep inside I'm blue

So take a good look at my face

You know my smile looks out of place

If you look closer it's easy to trace

The tracks of my tears

I need you... Need you

Terlalu Cinta

Jangan dekat atau jangan datang kepadaku lagi

Do not come close to me

Aku semakin tersiksa karena tak memilikimu

It hurts to not have you

Ku coba jalani hari dengan mengganti dirimu

I tried to move on, to replace you

Tapi hatiku selalu berpihak lagi padamu

But my heart only beats for you

Mengapa semua ini terjadi kepadaku

Why is all this happening to me?

Tuhan maafkan diri ini

God, forgive me

Yang tak pernah bisa menjauh dari angan tentangnya

Because i can't stop thinking about him

Namun apalah daya ini bila ternyata sesungguhnya

What more can i do when it's all so clear

Aku terlalu cinta dia

I love him so much

Cinta dalam hati

Another emo song by Ungu - cinta dalam hati.

mungkin ini memang jalan takdirku, maybe this is my fate

mengagumi tanpa di cintai, to admire but not to love

tak mengapa bagiku asal kau pun bahagia, that does not matter to me as long as you're happy

dengan hidupmu, with your life

telah lama kupendam perasaan itu, i've kept my feelings for long

menunggu hatimu menyambut diriku, waiting for your love to accept me

tak mengapa bagiku cintaimu pun, but all that matters is your love

adalah bahagia untukku, is happiness to me

ku ingin kau tahu diriku di sini menanti dirimu, i just want you to know that i'll always be here waiting for you

meski ku tunggu hingga ujung waktuku, even if i have to wait until the end of time

dan berharap rasa ini kan abadi untuk selamanya, and hope this feelings will last forever

dan izinkan aku memeluk dirimu kali ini saja, let me embrace me just once

untuk ucapkan selamat tinggal untuk selamanya, to wish you goodbye

dan biarkan rasa ini bahagia untuk sekejab saja, and let me feel happiness even for awhile

Seandainya..

seandainya kau bisa mendengar bisikku
mungkin kau akan bisa mendengar kata hatiku

seandainya kau bisa mendengar kata hatiku
mungkin kau akan bisa melihat tangisanku

seandainya kau bisa melihat tangisanku
mungkin kau akan hapuskan segala dukaku

seandainya kau hapuskan segala dukaku
mungkin kau akan member setitis cintamu

seandainya...

my pain sings

Her Sayangness Votes Earth

Ever heard about the Earth Hour? Vote Earth? Neither did i until recently whereby almost everyone is taking the pledge. Well, i believe not each and every one of us did practically recycle or do good to our Mother Nature.

Trust me, is you said you did, i'm afraid not totally everything you do and eat is 100% organic, recyclable, or simply GREEN! I admit, i'm not totally and "environmentalist" but i work at an environmental firm, do things like recycle and plant more greens, join the cleaning beach party and stuff like that...but i'm no "Green Goddess" (if i say i'm such environmentalist, i'll sound so POYO!)

So why not we support this pledge, what's the big-a-deal to switch off your lights for an hour? Tak mati laah! At least you'll save a sum of you electricity bill. Good idea, eh? Plus, there'll lots of things you could do "in the dark". Here's FIVE of my ideas.

1. catch up on your beauty sleep, i bet you hardly sleep early and with those panda bear eyes, now is the time to catch up but make sure to put on your eye patch/lotion/gel :)

2. candle light dinner, cook, prepare, take out some nice food and light up those romantic candles and savour with your loved ones.

3. self-spa, put on your facial mask (get yours at Face Shop, they're having a great offer!), put up the essential oil and get some nice relaxing moments.

4. long bath, i bet it's been ages since you used the bath tub, i'm one of them so now you can have those precious moments of long bath, light up those candles, pour some of those essential oils' bath salts or bubbles and dip in. Yummy to me :)

5. quality time with loved ones, haven't got the time to talk to your loved ones? catch up with them? now's the time!

I've also included details on the earth hour, don't be lazy to read it and if you're just so interested log on to http://www.voteearth2009.org/home/ for more details :)

Happy voting!

VOTE EARTH

When?
On March 28 you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour.Or you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on. The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

VOTE EARTH

Who?
We need your help to get as much support for Earth as possible. The more people you talk to, the more support you will rally. This is a movement of the people to protect the future of our planet, and we need you to help make it happen.
We want over one billion votes for Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.

VOTE EARTH

Why Should WE Vote Earth and How?
This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world’s first global election, between Earth and global warming. For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.

We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.

Her March Madness! @ Benefit

Yesterday it was raining. It rained after i got back from a wedding. I was my brother's partner, how pathetic and boring my sunday was. Since it ras a rainy sunday with nothin much to do, i found something interesting to do. SHOP!

Syasya, Cintahati's sister, reminded me that my lipgloss were running low. And so it was a great opportunity to fill in. And there you go, just the stop at Benefit and i'm glued. Well, not like i haven't thought of the pretty M.A.C's Hello Kitty collection but i just totally loathe Hello Kitty itself. And i thought Bobbi Brown was a bit on the pricey side (since i blew my savings on inner wear at La Senza earlier) and therefore opted for Benefit.

I had been eye-ing for Benefit since the first makeover i had, the same day i met Cintahati, (seriously!) but since i was still a student then, i had no fund for make-ups. But it never failed to make me smile and wait for new items with the twist of quirkiness. The vintage look of the fresh item just makes me drool over and over again!

Okay, back to Benefit, so my mission no.1 and only is to get Her Glossiness. Right! I didn't. The Beauty artist, Jennifer offered me to try the Lemon Aid since i was asking about high brow. I was kinda interested in the effect. Then she asked me to try Lyin' Eyes, for the dark circle and there you go. She ended up doing a whole make-over for me. With Benetint to Coralista, the new pretty blusher to Bad Gal lash mascara to You Rebel foundation to the ever-gorgeous Skinny Dip lipstick.

So after all that and the patient brother, i ended up buying 3 items, the must haves no.1 (that means the remaining items should be on the wish list!) The Lemon Aid for the lazy girl who is too lazy to apply eye shadows for the more natural pretty look, the Lyin' Eyes which worked like magic and give you some kind of glow and Her Glossiness which looks so kissable any time you wave that wand.

And so, who says makeup has to be serious to look good? It took her less than 10 minutes to get me done and Voila! i felt like a pweetyyyyyy pwincess out of covergirl magazine (yerrite!)..... All that for a good RM251 minus the RM10 rebate from Parkson. Yay!! More and more savings.

So here's the items i got, believe me when you read the descriptions and test and tried for yourselves.
1. Lemon Aid
Wake up your eyelids with this warm yellow correcting cream. It helps to hide redness & discoloration on your eyelids. In a snap, eyes look refreshed, frisky and ready for fun.
Tips and tricks: Pat on eyelids with your fingertip & blend. Wear alone or under makeup.

2. Lyin’ Eyes
A quick concealing pen that gives you minimum coverage and maximum results. With just a click you get the right amount of sheer tinted concealer that brushes on medium coverage. It's swift, fast, and oh-so sly. Apply anytime, under or over makeup, perfect for mid-day touchups.

3. Her glossiness : talk to my agent
Gloss your way to the top... this impossibly shiny gloss glides on smooth for A-list lips that will give 'em something to gossip about. The luxurious formula with jojoba oil makes your lips feel five-star pampered... as if they'd expect anything less!

And also the Wishlist! (Hopefully that someone drops by my blog today!)

1. Dr Feel Good
This is a new idea for smooth, silky, matte skin. It's dr. feelgood - our complexion miracle worker! This colorless, weightless balm goes on bare skin or glides over makeup to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores while soaking up excess oil. Enriched with Vitamins A, C and E, dr. feelgood is just what the doctor ordered for beautiful, healthy skin!
Tips and tricks: Using the sponge provided, pat and smooth dr. feelgood on your face, giving special attention to any areas with fine lines or enlarged pores. Continue to use throughout the day for quick and flawless touch ups!

2. You Rebel
You rebel, our bestselling defiantly different tinted moisturizer with SPF 15, now comes in a brand new "lite" shade specifically formulated for fair-skinned rebels. You rebel lite casts just a hint of tint. And just like her big, defiant sis, you rebel lite is loaded up with soothing aloe, antioxidant Vitamin E & Vitamin A for soft, supple skin. So glow wild!

3. High brow
Highlight your brow bone for an instant brow lift. This linen-pink pencil leaves your eyes lovely & younger looking... it's a stroke of pink genius! Lesson included.
Tips and tricks: Apply pencil under your brow following the arch. Lightly blend. For more arch appeal, put two dots above the arch & blend

4. Coralista (New!)
Take a tropical pleasure trip with CORALista. Sweep this coral pink powder onto cheeks anytime, anywhere. Move your brush to the beat & turn up the heat... bikini optional!
Tips and tricks: Swirl brush in the box & blow off excess. Smile & brush lightly across the apples of your cheeks, starting from the hairline and working in. - Jean & Jane Ford

5. Bad Gal
With a big, bad brush and a rich, black formula, BADgal lash mascara is like wearing a set of false eyelashes without the glue.
Tips and tricks: Not sure what kind-a BADgal you were born to be? We'll help you decide. If you want the biggest, blackest lashes around, BADgal lash is for you. For a pop of color, layer BADgal blue or BADgal plum on the tips of your lashes. BADgal... it's all in the family!

6. Skinny Dip, silky finish lipstick

Her March Madness! @ La Senza

So its the F1 fever for them guys but its sale fever for us gals. It started with a simple sms from La Senza on there sale. Well, everywhere, everyshop was on sale but it didn't attract me as much as La Senza did. I'd have to admit my frequent buys here. But truth be told, the offer is superbly irresistable. Buy 3 at RM120, who wont resist that? I know i wont. Isn't a good pair of bra essential?

So the sale is finally here and i went mad over it. This month alone, i've visit and re-visited for at least over 5 times. And 3 out of 5, i'll end up buying at least something. In total, i've spent over RM600 for god-knows-what! And to say the least, i'd have to return for something i forgot to get. Maybe its just an excuse but (seriously talking here) you save a lot during sale! and i'm not talking like i've been shopping my savings every month but a good deal is still a good deal.

Recently the made such further markdown, menyesal pulak lah kan since my first purchase was the absolute rm300++. The markdown had a kick to it. For every RM100 there'll be an additional RM10 rebate. WOW!!!! So i grab and grab and grab, in total was say 200 over minus the 10% privilege member and additional RM20-30 rebate and there you go, a good rm100 savings on all that!

Sadly, all the bras were the typical cotton or lacey ones, compared to the only sports bra (like the picture above) i got in La Senza Pavillion store. There were none in Penang. So i miss that chance there. Yikes. All in all, i'm still happy with all my stuff which i would probably save it till i-dont-know-when since the drawer is currently full and hopefully, i have enough funds to go again for my last buy. There goes my lingerie shopping until August? Hopefully i'll be able to haramkan myself from entering those pretty places for at least the next 3 months, insyaAllah.

Slim and fit

Well being slim and fit has always been on the top list of my resolution. And sad to say, but after all these years it seems like i've been gaining more than losing them. I went on a Girls nite out with Didie, Nurul and Eida to talk about us during highschool and we were talking on how much slimmer we were then than now. I think i told you once on my extra 12kg after being 17, which means a good 1.7kg a year, approximately (WOW!, i know).

Well, too bad im that extra 12kilos now and it seems so hard to lose all of them at once. I tried diet-ing, it failed a couple of times, but as for now i'm sticking with the no rice, less sugar and more water diet by Dr. Adura (haha!). I really hope i'll be able to lose at least a good 5-6 kgs this year...lagi banyak lagi bagus, kan?

Besides that, i'm also consuming the ClenX tea which is meant for bowel movement in English, cirit birit in BM la kan, which is not really a good option to be "healthy and detoxify" as you'll have tummy-aches and be a regular customer of the toilet. But since the function seems to be working on my tummy and it is said to detoxify and kick out all oil and fat so what's wrong with trying. But just a gentle reminder, the taste of it? YUCK!

When the "diet" topic arose that nite, there were so many things that we discussed, ways to get slim, that is. And one of the other option, slimming centre. Marie France, Keep Slim, Mayfair, London Weight Management, what else? Every centre seemed appealing to me. Problem is which oe works better at a good price? Well, to me, it's an investment, so i would appreciate if it doesn't cost so much of a fortune. I might as well save up for my other investments, but since my body is MINE!, so i think i'll have to re-consider. Don't you think so?

Another option was to get physical, get gym-ed. Well, to me in Penang it is a bit of a bias-ness here as the better gyms are situated and located in the other part of the island. So if i would be a member of Celebrity Fitness, i would have to drive all the way to Gurney Plaza which is approximately 20-25 minutes drive from home. But why i chose this gym is of its interesting line-ups of classes. Well, i dont know if its interesting unless i try, right? But if possible, i want to be serious in losing the extra pounds so much i'll appreciate those who supports me and not wiggle the velvety MCDonalds icecream or offer me a plate of Nasi Lemak early morning. Thank you.

Hope, luck, diligence, patience and everything good is with me. Wish me all the best, and i'll see you with greater self-esteem.

Here's an article taken from emmagem.com. (It's like they read my mind)

Top 8 Exercise Myths

Just mention the word exercise and you’re most likely to get a range of responses-some dread it and some just love it, then there are those gym addicts or those that just prefer to jog around the park.

Whichever it may be, Getting fit and healthy doesn’t have to be expensive or hard to do. Just do it anyway you want! By doing some simple exercise moves a few times a week, you’ll be looking and feeling terrific in no time.

Here are the top 8 exercise myths for you to know
You don’t have enough time to exercise
It’s high time you find the time to work out! If Hollywood celebs can fit in hours of cardio a day, you can surely manage a 30 minute walk. Without any practice of exercising, you’re prone to heart diseases, diabetes or osteoporosis later on in life. Get into the habit of working out and you’ll release it’s not that difficult after all.

If you exercise, you can eat whatever you want
There are many out there that do this. Spend a few grueling hours at the gym and then….devour a Mac’ds meal and sundae right after. What exercise will allow you to do is have a scoop of ice-cream or a few pieces of chocolate once in a while and not feel guilty about it. Going for a jog a few times a week doesn’t allow you indulge in a high-fat diet!

Skinny girls don’t need to exercise
Sorry to disappoint you, but no matter what size or shape you are, everyone needs to exercise. Just because you can fit into size 0 clothes does not mean you’re healthy, just as it doesn’t necessarily mean that someone who’s heavier is unfit.

If you frequent the gym, you can slob on the couch the rest of the time
People often make the mistake of thinking that if they exercise a few times a week, their work is done. Instead of taking the stairs, you take the lift. The end result of all this inactivity is that you use up less energy than someone who’s on the move the whole day.

You can’t be fit and fat
Many fit people carry higher levels of body fat. While some of them are genetically encoded to carry higher than average body fat levels, most are fit people who reward themselves with lavish high fat diets.

You’ll get big & bulky if you lift weights
This is one of the most persistent exercise myths around. First of all, you cannot and will not become the female version of Incredible Hulk by lifting weights, Except for serious lifters or body-builders who really work at it. If ladies lift weights correctly and consistently, you will lose weight!

You can immediately spot reduce from one part of your body
A few push-ups aren’t going to miraculously whip you up with arms to die for. You will lose weight proportionally from all parts of your body. Classic pear shapes will find the last place to lose is from the bottom and thighs.

No pain, no Gain
This is probably one of the biggest reasons for injuries and why people quit working out! Staying fit is supposed to feel pleasurable not like torture! You don’t need to kill to see the results. Most people get great improvements from mild effort initially. There’s no need to go all out hard & heavy that’ll leave you in pain and then you’ll probably never want to work out again.

For those of you who do not exercise, now’s the time to get to it. You could just start off with a simple brisk walk and gradually move on to a more strenuous routine. It’s all about getting into the habit of doing it and you’ll start to feel good and look stunning. Wouldn’t you want that?
