What's left is the recipe for Kuih Samperit. I know Mama had made Samperit once. So i believe that she has the recipe somewhere. Samperit in the Zubir's is very famous and usually the jar will be left with bits and pieces before the Prayers for Eid Mubarak. So i thought making them myself jars and jars would be better this year. With Iqmal around, 1 jar wont be enough and Elly is coming back home. So i'd better make an extra batch for each cookie especially the Samperit. So i was in search of the recipe, but i would not skip a day of my cookie-marathon.
Today i made myself 5 jars (250 pieces) of Dates cookie. Its actually something i've invented and hopefully it tastes good. I got the idea since it was Ramadhan and dates are so 'in fashion' and dates however contains a great deal of vitamins and all things good, so why not make a cookie out of it, right? It might not look pretty but it tastes so good. Take your pick.
